Blog Hop is a weekly meme hosted by Crazy For Books. Answer the weekly question and then, Friday through Monday, hop to see what other blogs are saying. This is a great way to meet new friends and blogs!
This week's Blog Hop question is: What are you reading right now and why are you reading it?
At the moment, I'm actually reading a category romance. I've been reading a lot of really serous books lately, so I wanted to read something a little more light-hearted.
What about you?
here's mine http://tributebooksmama.blogspot.com/2011/02/book-blogger-hop.html
ReplyDeleteJust popping in via the hop to say hi! I love reading romance novels in between all my paranormal YA books, they're a nice break, I like a happily ever after amidst all the vamps, weres and fae:) I'm a new follower here and I hope you have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteGood answer! The answer on my book blog is a little embarassing; it’s a book that’s been sitting on my TBR pile for a year.
ReplyDeleteTo my shame, I only opened the book because I remember it contained an Amazon gift card.

Hopping through. What is a category romance?
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
Yeah, what's a category romance?
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a romance reader, so I have no idea.
I'm reading a whole bunch of things right now. I'm slowly making my way through Slice of Cherry by Dia Reeves, but only a few pages at a time, and never before bed, because it is even scarier and more intense than I had expected! I hadn't realized it's a sequel to Bleeding Violet.
And I'm reading Trickster's Girl and The Great Wall of Lucy Wu.
I'm tempted to put them all aside for the moment though, and start reading Delirium, which I just got and I've been eager to read for a while.
Thanks for all the hops guys! I went by all your sites too.
ReplyDeleteLove the HP site! It's awesome.
Alison, yes it was a category. I love those when I'm in the mood for light reading with good romance.
Madigan, category romances are short, like 200 something pages maybe and you know what you'll get when you pick them up. Quick romance, happily ever after. They're fun and romantic. Let me know what you think of Slice of Cherry.
