Just when I thought Becca Fitzpatrick couldn't throw anything new and exciting into this series, well, she did.  I've read a lot of "angel" stories and I loved pretty much all of them, but there are things that make the Hush, Hush series so unique and endearing.  The characters being one of them.

In this installment, Nora wakes up with no memory of the last few months, which, of course, means she has no memory of Patch.  Eek!  This was so agonizingly frustrating.  I love these two together so much, that it was hard to watch Nora not knowing him.  But then again, what was really cool about this concept is that she kind of got to fall in love with him all over again.  The tension between these two characters is one of the things that has always made me love the series so much, and it's thick and enduring in this book as well.

Aside from this two characters, you just have to love Nora's best friend, who is such a great character.  She's so real, and the exchanges between her and Nora are some of my favorite scenes in all three books.  Becca Fitzpatrick knows how to create some vivid characters and to make you love them.

This series just keeps getting better and better with each book.  Will there be another book?  I'm not sure.  It's left in such a way that the author could say it's all done at this point, but then the ending also leaves room to imagine more coming for the story, if she decides to continue to with it.  If she does continue with it, I'll definitely be picking up the next book, as I would be more than willing to keep visiting the Hush, Hush world.  And even if she doesn't, I'll be keeping my eye out for new Becca books.  I love this author!!
