I love books like this!  Cute contemporary stories with some good romance are such a fantastic blend to me, and I love finding stories like this.  Catching Jordan fit the bill perfectly and I loved it.  There was nothing formulaic or cliche to me about this book.  I loved all the characters.  They were richly written, had great, real personalities that were so interesting and made you care.

Jordan is one kick-a$$ football player.  I've read stories with a female football player before, and although I did enjoy them, I felt they were unrealistic.  You just don't see any female football players in books that come across as being realistic.  This one did.  Her dad played, her brother played, there was professional football in her family, and they all pretty much eat, sleep and breathe football, including Jordan.  Add to that the fact that Jordan is six feet tall, and the idea of her being a female football player was spot on and so realistic.

Now let's talk about what I loved the most.  The romance.  It was completely unexpected.  Because just when I thought I had the whole thing predicted, I found out I didn't.  The author threw something at me that was completely unexpected, but I absolutely LOVED the surprise.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who likes cute, romantic contemporaries, but especially those who want to find one that's a little different and very unique.  Great debut!
