Ella is nearly invisible at the Willing School, and that's just fine by her. Still, it's hard being a nobody and having a crush on the biggest somebody in the school: Alex Bainbridge. Especially when he is her French tutor, and lessons have started becoming, well, certainly more interesting than French ever has been before.  - Goodreads.com

This was one of those cute books that is great when you need a break from the really energetic, action-packed, and often broody paranormals that I've been reading a lot of lately.  This type of book is a breath of fresh air.

The story wasn't terribly original, I felt, as the geek and/or invisible/unpopular girl getting the super hot/super popular dream to all teen girls has been used quite a bit.  So there were bits of it that were somewhat predictable to me.  But I found that I really didn't care.  I wanted a sweet romance, a light read that would be fun, and that's what I got.  Alex is a bit more than just the hot, arrogant jock, so that gave the story some originality.  The characters were both pretty well developed, and I found myself really pulling for them to be together.

Even though there wasn't much guesswork to the ending for me, I still found myself really enjoying the story and feeling very satisfied with how things worked out.  It reads very quickly, as the pacing was excellent and there weren't any parts that really slowed me down.  I enjoyed it.
