Monday's Month In Retrospect: February 2012

It's time for Monday's Month In Retrospect. Let's look back at the previous month and see what I considered the Best Ofs for what I read in February 2012.   And wow, this was an amazing month of books.  I had an enormously hard time picking favorites because I read so many great ones in February.  Here goes...

Best Book I read last month:
Title: Goddess Interrupted by Aimee Carter
Release Date: March 27, 2012
Why it was my favorite: Greek Myth, Hades as the brooding love interest, great romance.  It has it all.
Reviewed: Yes. See review here.

Best Heroine:
Kali from Every Other Day by Jennifer Lynn Barnes
Why she's my favorite:  This was one amazing heroine.  She was tough as nails, could kick some serious butt, but every other day she was a weak human who could be hurt.  Two sides and it was so well written.

Best Hero:
Henry from Goddess, Interrupted by Aimee Carter
Why he's my favorite:   He's Hades...my favorite Greek god myth.  I had to fall in love with him.
Best Villain:
The bad guys from Isle of Night: The Watchers by Veronica Wolff
What made them a great villain: Bad, bad, bad!  Creepy bad.  Mean bad.
Best Cover:
Why it's my favorite:  It has so many great elements.  First, the two models are just gorgeous.  I love their images being blown up bigger while under them is the beautiful green and blue leading up to a firbidding castle.  Just great!
Leave a comment and share your Best Ofs for January!
