Anna and Bennett were never supposed to meet: she lives in 1995 Chicago and he lives in 2012 San Francisco. But Bennett has the unique ability to travel through time and space, which brings him into Anna’s life, and with him a new world of adventure and possibility.  As their relationship deepens, the two face the reality that time may knock Bennett back to where he belongs, even as a devastating crisis throws everything they believe into question. Against a ticking clock, Anna and Bennett are forced to ask themselves how far they can push the bounds of fate, what consequences they can bear in order to stay together, and whether their love can stand the test of time. - Goodreads.com

I love stories like this!!  This book reminded me a great deal of that Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves movie called The Lake House.  This is just one of those star-crossed, extremely romantic type stories that you just love to read when you're in the mood for love.  Throw a little time travel in there and it's just a perfect read to relax with.

I loved the characters in this story.  Anna and Bennett, to me, were just perfect.  Their romance had me on pins and needles through the entire book because the situation is just so impossible and you have no idea how it could possibly work out.  And the author did an amazing job keeping everything straight for me, and not throwing in things that made the impossible unbelieveable.  I was completely able to suspend disbelief and just enjoy this story without constantly editing internally and pointing out things that wouldn't work, even if time travel were possible.  This easily could have been a very confusing book to read, but the author did such a fabulous job with it that I wasn't confused at all.

The writing was so perfect... the pacing was perfect.  I literally flew through the pages and couldn't wait to see what would happen next.  There were times of emotion that had me agonizing for these two.  I feel like I'm gushing, but I just loved the book.  It was just about perfect and I enjoyed every second of it.
