Josh & Hannah by Lynda Chance

Publisher: Lynda Chance Books

Josh Turner wants Hannah more than life itself. She's perfect and new . . . but she's a McIntyre. She's from the richest family in the county, and he's a Turner, from the wrong side of the proverbial tracks. And to make matters worse, there's no love lost between their families.  - Goodreads.com

So in case you can't tell by the awesome cover, this book was super hot!!  Even though Hannah starts out in this story as only fifteen, I would still categorize this story as more of a New Adult than traditional Young Adult, because there's quite a few hot scenes in the book and the content is just a bit older.  I found this book by accident, and I am ever so glad that I did, because I absolutely loved it.

Josh and Hannah come from two families that aren't exactly on speaking terms.  So the story had a very Romeo and Juliet feel to it, which I just loved.  Star-crossed lovers is always a great element to a story, especially when done well, and this author definitely did it well.

I loved both of these characters from the very beginning.  Hannah is young, sweet, and innocent, but at the same time, she's smart and a bit older for her age.  Josh is the epitome of bad boy, but at the same time, he has this unexpected streak of nobility to him that keeps him from doing anything with Hannah until she turns a certain age.

Hannah grows up in this story as it spans several years, but it was far from boring.  I love how their relationship progresses and I love that the reader gets to watch it shape and grow over the course of several years.  This book is about real situations.  There isn't some high concept plot element at work... it's just a story about people, relationships and love.  And I absolutely, positively loved it.  These two together were so romantic, and Josh just about had me swooning through the majority of the book.  I loved Josh's Alpha male personality.  So hot and sexy.

I highly recommend you pick this book up if you're looking for a great romance, a sexy bad boy, alpha guy, and a great story.
