So here is my Monday's Month In Retrospect for what I read in April 2015. This was an extraordinarily difficult month to choose from because I read some amazing books. Here they are:
BEST BOOK I READ LAST MONTH
Title: Revived by Sarah Noffke (The final book in the Lucidites series)
Why It Was My Favorite: This book had all the aspects that make a wonderful book. There was action galore, a great romance, a strong heroine, loveable and well-developed characters, and it tugged on my heartstrings.
Reviewed? Yes. See review here.
BEST HERO - It's a tie!!
Character: Archer from Archer's Voice by Mia Sheridan, and Gray from The Friend Zone by Kristen Callihan
Why He Was My Favorite:
Archer - Wow... this guy made you fall in love with him. He was innocent, sweet, so hurt and neglected, but strong all at the same time. That's all I can say... just read it.
Gray - Sexy, smoldering, caring, alpha male with a heart. Sigh!

BEST HEROINE
Character: Two months in a row it's going to the same character, but this time from a different book. Roya got it for Awoken last month. This month, it's Roya again, this time from book three, Revived by Sarah Noffke.
Why She Was My Favorite: She was a perfectly developed character. Strong, self-sufficient, as well as self-sacrificing. She fought hard to hide her emotions, but she felt so deeply. She was so brave.
BEST VILLAIN
Character/Entity: The villain from Through Fire and Sea by Nicole Luiken
Why This Villain Was My Favorite: This bitch was heinous!!!! But she was a great villain because there are times you feel sorry for her.
BEST QUOTE
Quote from: Archer from Archer's Voice by Mia Sheridan
Quote 1: “I'm afraid to love you. I'm afraid that you'll leave and that I'll go back to being alone again. Only it will be a hundred times worse because I'll know what I'm missing. I can't…” He sucked in a shaky breath. “I want to be able to love you more than I fear losing you, and I don't know how. Teach me, Bree. Please teach me. Don't let me destroy this.”
Why It's My Favorite: Archer's innocent, has been alone his whole life, even as a child. This quote sums him up perfectly. Beautiful.

BEST BOOK COVER
Book Cover: Veiled Innocence by Ella Frank
Why It's My Favorite: The thin blue covering only covers certain things and this effect perfectly echoes the book title. I love it when covers can tie in so well with the title. Plus, it's just a gorgeous cover.
